ERASMUS EXCHANGE PROGRAM
The Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Konya Technical University aims to strengthen its education, teaching, and research activities in line with its internationalization goals through student and staff mobility activities carried out within the scope of the Erasmus+ Program. The Erasmus+ Program offers our students and academic staff the opportunity to gain academic and cultural experience in higher education institutions in different countries.
Our department actively participates in student learning mobility, student internship mobility, and staff teaching and training mobility activities within the scope of the Erasmus+ Program. Through these activities, our students can receive education for a certain period at higher education institutions with which our department has agreements and can utilize the academic credits they have earned within the scope of their curriculum.
The discipline of Urban and Regional Planning has a structure that requires the sharing of international knowledge and experience in areas such as sustainability, spatial planning, urban and regional development, environment, and cultural heritage. Erasmus+ mobility makes significant contributions to our students' understanding of planning approaches in different countries, developing a comparative perspective, and increasing their professional competencies.
Erasmus+ application processes, quotas, application requirements, and up-to-date information regarding partner universities are announced through the Konya Technical University Erasmus Coordination Office and the department's website. It is important for our students to carefully follow the application processes and plan their academics accordingly.
